Girls in ICT: Real Stories, Real Impact

Building Her Future in Tech: Nadia Kila at Remington Group

What started as simple curiosity about how technology works behind the scenes has quickly turned into something more meaningful for Nadia Kila.

A recent graduate with a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, Nadia is already making her mark at Remington Group. She’s part of the team working on our new e-commerce platform, helping build solutions that are practical, relevant, and built for the PNG market.

For Nadia, technology isn’t just about systems and code. She sees Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a real opportunity to improve how businesses operate and how people connect to services. Not hype, just tools that, when used properly, can make everyday work smarter and more efficient.

Joining Remington Group under the Graduate Development Program this year was a conscious choice. It’s a place that backs young talent and actively supports women in tech. Nadia is part of a new generation proving that the industry isn’t out of reach, it’s open, and it needs their ideas.

With this year’s theme, AI for Development, the focus is clear. Building digital capability locally matters. When young professionals like Nadia step into these roles, they help bridge the gap between where we are and where PNG needs to go.
