There is something special about witnessing the joy, anticipation and excitement on a child’s face when they receive and unwrap a gift.
Our team visited the Port Moresby General Hospital Paediatric Ward on the 22nd of December to bring some Christmas cheer to the children.
The Remington Group together with the Young Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce & Industry (YPOMCCI), Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce & Industry (POMCCI) and BizPrint & Scan partnered with the Friends of POMGEN to put a smile on a child’s face this festive season.
Craig Bowden, BizPrint & Scan’s General Manager, suited up as Santa, much to the children’s delight and handed out gifts to all the patients. The team visited the paediatric General Ward, the cancer ward and the malnutrition/TB ward bringing laughter, happy faces and cheerful noise in the usually quiet rooms. The supportive caregivers and the hard-working staff of Port Moresby General Hospital were also thrilled by the visit.
Visiting the Paediatric Ward was a great start to our Christmas; our team thoroughly enjoyed and were deeply moved by the experience.
