Remington Group is in search of a Logistics Assistant for our Lae office. The Logistics Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficiency of the stock picking activities, stock dispatching activities, and physical activities of the inbound shipments and expediting the clearing activities
This position requires strong leadership in the areas of people management, warehouse and service delivery, safety and performance management. Understanding of the company’s current and future requirements and ensuring maintenance or repair work is carried out to support all business unit operations.
The Logistics Assistant, therefore, must possess and display initiative, judgement and a degree of independence in identifying problems, researching solutions and taking appropriate action to develop the capabilities, systems and performance of the business.

Key Requirements
- Five (5)+ years’ experience in logistics role in a similar industry.
- In managing a diverse supply chain function with all business units.
- Experience of participating in teams in designing major change initiatives.
- Understanding cultural diversity and project delivery through a multicultural team.
- Must have a class 6 license
- Forklift operator experience
